2.1 Definitions
Personal data means information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Processing includes collecting, storing, using, modifying, disclosing and deleting personal data.

We process personal data under the Swiss FADP and, where applicable, the GDPR:

3. Nature, Scope and Purpose
We process personal data to provide coaching, online courses, webinars, programmes and digital content securely, reliably and conveniently.
- Customer and contact details: name, email, telephone
- Contract and payment data via Ablefy, Stripe and PayPal
- Content and communication data: messages, notes and chat histories
- Usage, metadata and tracking data relating to external offerings, including Google Analytics, ActiveCampaign, Meta Ads and Jetpack on the previous website
- Course booking and administration data via Ablefy
Data is processed only as long as necessary or legally required, then deleted or anonymised. Commissioned providers act on our behalf under appropriate data processing agreements.
4. Communication
We process data to communicate via email, telephone or social media.
Booking a Consultation
The coaching page has no application form. Its booking button opens Calendly, where you select an appointment and provide booking details. Calendly’s privacy information applies. Calendly is not embedded; a connection is made only when you open the link.
Your name, email and message are stored to handle enquiries, under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in efficient communication).
We use WhatsApp Business (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd., Ireland). When you contact us, your name, telephone number and message content are processed. Use is voluntary. A GDPR-compliant Data Processing Addendum is in place.
5. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. Transmission is encrypted (SSL/TLS). Absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
6. Personal Data Abroad
Data is processed in Switzerland and the EEA and may be transferred elsewhere, particularly the USA and Canada (e.g. ActiveCampaign, Google, Meta, Stripe and Manychat). We ensure adequate protection through standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards.
7. Your Rights
Under the FADP and GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection (especially to direct marketing), portability in machine-readable form, and withdrawal of consent at any time. Contact admin@insulininsiders.com to exercise these rights.
8. Use of the Website
Accessing nadinesommer.com involves necessary connection data, including IP address, request time, pages accessed, browser and operating system, for delivery and secure operation.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
There are currently no integrations of our own for Google Analytics, Jetpack, Meta Pixel or ActiveCampaign Site Tracking on nadinesommer.com. Cookiebot is not integrated. Necessary cookies or local storage may be used to operate the website. You can delete or restrict these in your browser.
External Offerings
Some links lead to insulininsiders.com or get.insulininsiders.com. Those sites open only when you follow a link; their privacy and cookie settings apply. Information about analytics, marketing and forms on the previous website does not automatically apply here.
Fonts
Poppins, Nunito and Caveat load through Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google, potentially transmitting your IP address and request details. Google Privacy Policy.
9. Social Media
We operate profiles including Facebook and Instagram. Their privacy policies apply: Facebook and Instagram. We are jointly responsible with Meta for certain processing under its Joint Controller Agreement.

The services below are used across coaching, communication, newsletters, booking, online courses and payments. Not all are integrated into nadinesommer.com; some apply to external sites.
Email Marketing and Automations
ActiveCampaign, LLC, 1 N Dearborn Street, 5th Floor, Chicago, IL 60602, USA, sends emails, newsletters and automated communications. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is in place. Privacy Policy.
Landing Pages
Unbounce Marketing Solutions Inc., Vancouver, Canada, is used for landing pages. Embedded forms connect to ActiveCampaign. Privacy Policy.
Website, Hosting and Domain
nadinesommer.com is provided via Lovable. Hosting, content delivery and technical diagnosis may process connection and technical usage data. Lovable Privacy Policy.
The domain is registered with IONOS. The previous website insulininsiders.com is hosted by IONOS and uses Jetpack for statistics and security. This does not describe the hosting of nadinesommer.com. IONOS Privacy Policy; Automattic Privacy Policy.
Web Analytics and Email
The previous website uses Google Analytics. Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd., Ireland / Google LLC, USA) is used for internal email. A data processing agreement is in place. Privacy Policy.
Appointment Booking
Calendly LLC, 271 17th St NW, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA, processes name, email, telephone and any further booking details for scheduling. A data processing agreement is in place. Privacy Policy.
Online Meetings
Zoom Video Communications, Inc., 55 Almaden Blvd, Suite 600, San Jose, CA 95113, USA, processes name, email, IP address and communication content for consultations, coaching and webinars. A DPA is in place. Privacy Policy.
Payments and Online Products
Payments are processed through Stripe Inc., 354 Oyster Point Blvd, South San Francisco, CA 94080, USA, or Ablefy Inc., EU. Stripe acts as an independent controller. Digital products and courses are provided through Ablefy. Stripe Privacy Policy; Ablefy Privacy Policy.
PayPal payments are governed by PayPal Europe S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg’s Privacy Policy.
Advertising and Social Media
Meta Platforms Inc. (Facebook, Instagram) is used for advertising, retargeting and profiles. Certain processing is subject to joint responsibility under Art. 26 GDPR. Controller agreement; Privacy Policy.
Manychat Inc., San Francisco, USA, supports automated Instagram communication. A DPA is in place. Privacy Policy.
Providers process data within legal requirements. Where needed, we have appropriate agreements or EU-recognised safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Notifications & Newsletters
Newsletters use ActiveCampaign LLC, USA, storing name, email, IP address and registration date under a data processing agreement.
Newsletter Tracking
We analyse open rates and clicks to optimise content under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). You can withdraw consent through the unsubscribe link in each email. ActiveCampaign Privacy Policy.
12. Retention Period
We keep data only as long as necessary or subject to legal retention requirements, then delete or anonymise it. Without legal obligations, we delete it after no more than five years.
13. Changes
We may amend this policy at any time. The current version is at nadinesommer.com.
